Send and Receive Packages Easily

How I designed a mobile app that helps users send cargo, parcels, documents, and packages by allowing them to connect with interested travelers and shippers looking for the most convenient option. Available in the Colombian market.

Overview

The app can be classified as a Peer-to-peer model service ecosystem. I led the whole UX/UI design and product strategy, including the website design and brand development. 

It has more than 1K downloads on Google Play and five-star ratings on Apple Store! 🏆

My Impact

The project comprehended working on the discovery and delivery phases, ideating on improving the main problem of finding a person to send a small package or cargo without the hassle of a delivery process and allowing access to remote areas within the country.

I went from research to interviews and surveys to synthesize user data and identify the users' demands. Consequently, I built low- and high-fidelity prototypes, which were tested to collect feedback and make changes to improve the design.

The project deliveries also included the public website design, branding, and stylesheet for components handoff based on Material Design.

Summary

  • End-to-end design process: the app is available in Apple & Android Stores in the Colombian Market.

  • 12% improvements through different iterations in ease of navigation.

  • We reached 90% and 84% success rates on task completion rates for the shipper and primary flow, respectively.

  • Through different iterations, we achieved a good experience for the carrousel of offers in both flows, which reached an average of 76,5%

  • Feedback from the client was positive, giving an example to attract other clients.

  • My contribution enabled the company to understand UX and product Design and have tools & metrics for future improvements.
